Donations to SCRI

The Syracuse Cancer Research Institute is grateful for the recognition it has received. And equally grateful for the generous response by the public to its fund raising endeavors. For it is only by such funding that the Institute is able to maintain the momentum of its efforts.

Institute programs are largely supported by charitable gifts to the Institute by concerned individuals, businesses and foundations. The Institute is a not-for-profit scientific, charitable and educational corporation, tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions to the Institute are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Charitable gifts to the Institute may include bequests, legacies, life insurance policies, trusts and similar tangible and intangible properties. Such gifts can have great impact on the scientific and educational programs of the Institute and thus ultimately on the health and welfare of a great number of people. Advice from your qualified tax- consultant and/or legal counsel should be sought in connection with these gifts.
